Stranger in a new home

My latest travelling has been at least semi-permanent: after years of living in Wisconsin, I have completed a move to Brooklyn, New York, in order to attend graduate school. As I expected, New York City is much different than I've been used to. I've written about trips to NYC before, so  for the next few months, I'll be writing about new experiences in New York. Think of it as sort of a "not for tourists" style guide to New York.
